Arrowroot
Arrowroot is a white flavorless powder. It is a starch extracted from the root of a tropical plant known as Maranda Arundinaceous. Arrowroot powder is a great thickening agent and can easily replace cornstarch. It is used in soups, sauces, and gravies.
