Angel Brand Spices was started when a young Jamaican decided to take his chance at the American dream and become an entrepreneur. The young man was working as a Mechanical Engineering when he met his beautiful wife. They shared a passion for cooking with spices from their homeland of Jamaica. They would create delicious recipes filled with spices from abroad and bake fresh desserts to the delight of their family and friends. Unfortunately, they could not find many of the spices they loved at their local grocery stores. It was this love for cooking that encouraged the couple to start buying spices from the West Indies and countries overseas, to sell to grocery stores in the United States. The only problem, what to name such a company? Then one night, the engineer had a dream he should call the company Angel Brand Spices. He knew instantly it was so that they could be a blessing to all people who tried their delectable seasonings. His wife happily agreed to the name, and their adventure began.

As the years went on the couple bought a packaging warehouse where their team could grow. They began selling to wholesalers, grocery stores, and families online.The couple established themselves in the industry as having some of the highest quality spices at the most reasonable prices. Then the engineer decided to dream bigger. He decided to begin selling his favorite snacks and drinks: nuts and herbal teas! He and his wife would sit for hours curating their very own tea blends using their favorite healing ingredients, all the while snacking on toasted nuts with their 3 little birds.

The engineer’s wife became an angel herself in 2020. We will never ever forget the heart of the company.
